Job Details:Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm (42.5 hours per week, with Standby Rota of 1 week in every 4)Location: VariousSalary: £41,483.96 (inclusive of standby allowance – 1 week in every 4)Responsibilities:The HVAC Technician will be accountable for maintaining and repairing all HVAC plant and equipment in Client stores to a predetermined standard efficiently and cost-effectively. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Completing the agreed PPM schedule, ensuring accurate completion of all necessary paperwork following laid-down procedures.Promptly responding to service call/alarm requests from the central Helpdesk, assessing job requirements, and carrying out necessary repairs within agreed timescales and response times, with subsequent updates on call and job status.Conducting service and maintenance on HVAC assets, including but not limited to air handling units with gas-fired heating, LPHW, DX coils, heat pump systems, single-split air conditioning, LPHW boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW boilers, and water chillers.Identifying non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advising the Line Manager of findings, along with making recommendations for suitable replacements—all completed within Health, Safety & Environmental policies.Essential Requirements:Hold recognized Commercial Gas qualifications, with at least four of the following: COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1.F Gas (2079) qualified.17th or 18th Edition (Desirable).Professionalism, pleasantness, friendliness, flexibility, courtesy, and helpfulness at all times, coupled with a hands-on, can-do approach to work.Positive attitude, able to work in a dynamic business environment and adapt accordingly, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.Experience in HVAC/Gas in a multi-site environment.Possession of a full Driving Licence and willingness to travel daily.Benefits:10% discount in Client stores (after completing the first 12 weeks).Comprehensive benefits package, including private medical insurance, Healthshield (reclaim medical expenses), pension scheme, discounts in popular retailers, cinemas, restaurants/food to go outlets across the UK, generous Life Assurance benefit, 33 days holidayinclusive of Bank Holidays, Company Vehicle, and Cycle to Work scheme.If these qualities describe you, the Client would like to hear from you.
