Job Description

Pertemps Recruitment has recently partnered recently partnered with independent medical humanitarian organization that provides life-saving emergency relief and longer-term medical care to some of the most vulnerable and excluded communitiesaround the world regardless of ethnic origin, gender, religion, or political affiliation. This organisation is looking for a Human Resource Manager to join their London-based team their London-based team.This is a Full-Time, permanent role that allows remote/hybrid working -- paying between £35,000 - £45,000 per annum plus bonus. The Company:An independent medical humanitarian organisation, that deliver care based only on need, regardless of ethnic origin, gender, religion, or political affiliation. They rely on donations from private individuals and organisations for most of its income.This private funding gives them the freedom to respond where needs are greatest and to speak out publicly, free from any political interference. They are a large organisation with 40,000 local and international staff working in over 70 countries, in some ofthe most challenging places in the world. Their medical humanitarian projects are supported by teams in 32 countries, including the UK, spread across Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa and Australasia. At the UK branch, they support the organizationsoperations by building relationships with their supporters, increasing awareness of the work they do, raising funds, providing specialist medical expertise, catalysing change on medical humanitarian issues, and recruiting field staff.Your role:The successful candidate will support the key strategic goals of the organisation and develop the culture of evidence-based decision making throughout the organisation and HR teamResponsibilities include but not are limited to the following: Decisions

  • Responsible for delivery of timely reports and overviews key HR management data and metrics
  • Acts as the HR Systems figurehead helping to drive systems and analytics strategy.
  • Work closely with all stakeholders drawing on internal and external trends and using business acumen to achieve maximum results.
  • Work closely with HR team members to contribute to all critical process mapping and support team recommendations for implementation and review for better quality assurance and automation.
  • Lead the strategic planning, reporting, evaluating, monitoring responsibilities so as to realistically meet and achieve organizations goals.
  • Work closely with HR Team as a whole, contributing to review of HR development, continuous improvement, and efficiency
  • Ensure proposed approaches are efficient, cost and time effective, developing and applying knowledge in relation to set up and relevant legislation.
  • Lead on improved standards of preparation, support, and help to guide individuals and teams through organisational change
Analysis and Initiative
  • Supervise the work of the HR Officer (Compliance, Projects & Systems) to ensure the reports are accurate, correct and generated within specified timescales.
  • Support HR Services, EO, IT and Finance & Services to understand the impact of new and changing HR data, reporting and systems initiatives and insights.
  • Develops a yearly audit plan, documenting HR and L&D reporting and providing weekly progress updates.
  • Works with the wider HR team to understand any efficiencies within the team processes that can be achieved through system functionality
Planning and Organising
  • Ensure all regular reports are generated within specific deadline dates.
  • Create and recommend realistic, measurable, and challenging objectives and report on progress using meaningful KPIs.
Communicating
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, influencing and managing change and owning the relationships with third party providers.
  • Work collaboratively with all managers proactively seeking what their requirements are on individual or departmental levels.
  • Monitor and update internal comms for HR activities, processes, systems, and benefits to seeking support from Head of HR to ensure they are widely understood and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with suppliers, collaborating with them to consistently improve processes.
  • Take ownership of the HRIS systems, ensuring effective communication with the business and its stakeholders, as required.
Key Requirements and Skills:
  • Ability to analyse and generate reports on complex data Power BI, MS Dynamics 365, etc.
  • Previous experience in HR (CIPD qualified desirable)
  • Previous experience working with multidisciplinary teams in international environments
  • Demonstrable experience of HRIS implementation, project management, development and management of projects strong IT components.
  • Experienced people manager
  • Extensive experience of using, managing, developing and implementing Cezanne, HERO, or similar HR Systems
  • Strong numeracy skills, advanced IT skills including advanced MS Excel
  • Excellent overall understanding of main HRIS functionalities, with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product
  • Excellent understanding of HR business areas
  • Methodical, autonomous, organised and ability to understand and meet targets and deadlines
  • Analytical thinking, operational and problem-solving mindset essential
