Put simply, we enable professionals and their organisations to enhance performance by providing high quality, relevant and reliable information, education and knowledge.Main Purpose of RoleAs a HR Business Partner you will be providing challenge and support to selected Wilmington businesses and/or shared services groups, partnering with relevant business leaders and senior management team to diagnose and broker effective HR services, working with HR Centres of Expertise as neededResponsibilities include:- Being an active part of the relevant leadership team who contributes to the development, implementation and management of the overall business plan and objectives, delivering from a people perspective.- Providing coaching, consultation and challenge to leadership on strategic projects, department goals, HR policies and programs. Recommends appropriate decisions which may be significantly complex in nature and may have a significant impact to the business. - Diagnosing and supporting leaders with complex employee relations issues in order to broker solutionsChange Management:- Understanding and anticipating the need for change, diagnosing the underlying risks, issues and building the case for change with stakeholders, and managing the people impacts of change activity- Leading senior managers through change processes, providing thoughtful challenge and critical analysis and ensuring the process is run in line with legislation and best practiceTalent Management:- Overseeing the delivery of meaningful talent review processes, as well as ensuring the effective execution of talent management initiatives (retention planning, succession planning, performance, talent development planning, etc.)- Supporting leaders to formulate and implement people and organisation strategies and plans in order to get the right people with the right skills at the right time- Monitoring trends in relation to workforce resourcing and takes proactive action to reduce risks to the organisation- Up-skilling, coaching and mentoring managers and future leadersContinuous Improvement and HR Projects:- Acting as an interface between client groups and HR team, providing feedback to the HRD and Head of HR Operations that the HR initiatives, processes and practices are fit for purpose and creating improved ways of working- Overseeing and assessing the effective delivery of HR programs and services for client groups- Effectively collaborating with HR Centres of Expertise when working on the development and implementation of strategies and programmes to attract, develop, reward and retain exceptional talent- Designing, developing and implementing communication strategies to introduce new HR programs and Company initiatives. Ensures effective communication strategies are in place within their clients and builds two-way communication channelsSkills and Experience Required- Experience in the same or similar role- A well rounded HR professional with maturity, self awareness and resilience- Experience as an HR Business Partner in a complex, international business- Significant experience of senior stakeholder management to senior level, and high standards of customer engagement and excellence- Experience of leading on the HR aspects of organisation wide projects as the Subject Matter Expert - including organisational re-design, change and business mergers and acquisitions- Demonstrable pragmatism, commercial understanding and business acumen- A strong mind-set for continuous development and improvement- A thorough and proactive approach with the ability to deal with matters in an efficient methodical process- Results orientated and ability to work under pressure, think ahead and cope with conflicting priorities- Collaborative team player with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and peers- Good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and information persuasively, communicate effectively with internal customers, and build professional credibility within the organisation- Thorough knowledge of UK employment law"We are committed to equality, equality of opportunity and valuing diversity" Required skills
