Job Description

Due to an internal promotion my successful client within the Hospitality sector is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team in London, reporting into the Director of HR, where you will be working as part of a small proactive team.The role will include:

  • Acting as a key point of contact providing HR/ ER advice to managers at all levels including complex ER queries including dismissal, grievance, performance management.
  • Attending disciplinary and grievance hearings as representative from management, taking notes and drafting correspondence
  • Recommending solutions in order to meet with business needs and reduce ER risks in line with best practice
  • Training managers in managing HR/ ER matters
  • Advising and managing long term sickness absences, supporting both employees and managers
  • Advising in line with company procedures and policies
  • Building effective relationships within the business to promote strong employee relations across all sites
  • Assisting in auditing employees’ eligibility to work our all sites
  • Keeping up to date with employment legislation and case judgements to advise on best practice
  • Providing any necessary training to all level of employees
  • Maintaining employee records
  • Key skills:
  • Previous experience within hospitality/retail
  • CIPD Level 5
  • Experience dealing with high volume complex ER queries
