Job Description

HR Advisor£33,000/annum Full-time 40 hours per weekFixed Term Contract 12 months (until 31/03/2024)HybridWorking Monday to FridayKey Accountabilities

  • Coaching Line Managers in effectively managing their people issues
  • Works closely with HR Coordinators team to ensure efficient and effective HR transactions are completed for employees
  • Supports the Senior HR Business Partner with generalist HR work (recruitment, talent & engagement activities and employee relations matters)
  • Work with the Gallery OH provider and employee to provide end-to-end support for a return to work/function if required as the result of any OH advice provided. Work with line managers and employees to support this activity, providing clear guidance andadvice
  • Lead on and provide holistic support/guidance to line managers and employees to address all elements of absence management
  • Supports broader HR projects to refine/develop new practices and ways of working to improve the employee experience
  • Supports the Senior HR Business Partner in change management initiatives
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
  • Previous experience in liaising with a range of stakeholders
  • Previous experience of supporting a HR team is desirable, but not essential
Skills and Attributes
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage a variety of tasks
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and problem solve, with particular reference to answering queries and revaluating processes
  • Acts as a role model with integrity and demonstrable commitment to upholding professional standards
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to meet the needs of a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues within HR and across the Gallery
  • Demonstrates passion and approaches all work in an enthusiastic way and willing to learn
  • Good judgement regarding responding to and/or passing on messages
