Job Description

Position: Housing SolicitorExperience Required: 5+ Years PQELocation: LondonSalary: £70,000 - £100,000A prestigious national law firm is looking to expand its Housing team in London with the addition of a skilled Housing Solicitor. With a commitment to legal excellence and client service, this role presents a brilliant chance for a dedicated individual tothrive in a supportive and dynamic environment.The Role:The new Housing Solicitor will play a key role in managing a varied caseload covering all aspects of housing law. The firms client base includes housing associations, local authorities, and private sector entities, offering a rich variety of work.Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on a broad spectrum of housing law matters, including but not limited to, landlord and tenant disputes, housing disrepair, leasehold issues, and possession proceedings.
  • Provide representation in courts and tribunals, showcasing strong advocacy skills.
  • Counsel on policy and procedural changes impacting the housing sector.
  • Maintain and develop client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and legal advice.
  • Contribute to the team and firms business development activities.
Candidate Profile:
  • UK-qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years PQE specializing in housing law.
  • Proven track record of handling a comprehensive range of housing law issues.
  • Excellent legal skills with a strong client service orientation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, complemented by a proactive approach.
