Job Description

To provide a personal holistic housing management service to a key group of residents. Your work will support the Resident Promise, working alongside residents you will be an advocate on their behalf within the organisation to support excellent service delivery.Client DetailsOur client is a leading G15 Housing Association.DescriptionThe key responsibilities:

  • To oversee your designated patch, carrying out a fully generic role coveringall aspects of Housing Management
  • To recover unpaid rents and service charges and other debts owed by tenantsand shared owners.
  • Take responsibility for prioritising your own workloads. Be proactive in solvinga wide range of customer enquiries and problems on a day to day basis.
  • To ensure estate services are delivered to a high standard. Monitor contractorperformance. Consult with residents about their community and the estateservices being provided and liaise/consult on recommendations for estateimprovements.
  • To carry out estate, fire and other necessary inspections and tenancy audits.Carry out estate and community walkabouts. Identify and address any estateconcerns, providing a cleaner and greener environment for all residents.
  • To ensure the efficient allocation of all housing vacancies arising. Ensure the end tenancy process is complied with. Carry out pre-tenancy visits/checks to assess applicants needs and make allocations recommendations. Offer properties, sign up new tenantsand inform new tenants and shared owners of the obligations of both tenant and landlord, including the requirements of their tenancy agreement or lease
ProfileThe successful Housing Officer will:
  • Be able to confident work alone and cover their patch.
  • Has worked in a face-to-face Housing role.
  • Good customer service skills with a "can-do" attitude.
  • History of dealing with customers from different backgrounds.
  • Confidence in dealing with customers in their own homes and on the estates.
