Hourly Paid Lecturer - Computing £22.51 to £30.50 per hour 7 Hours per week Friday 9-12 Witney Campus, 1-4 Abingdon Campus 36 weeks per annum Witney and Abingdon Campus Fixed term until 30th September 2022 The Technology department at Abingdon and WitneyCollege have a new and exciting opportunity to deliver Web design, Multimedia and basic IT skills to our learners on a HP (Hourly paid) basis. The Curriculum Manager would be keen to talk to anyone that has the above skill set and is able to deliver thesesessions on a Friday for 36 weeks of the year (7 hours per day). You will be joining a vibrant and successful team and play a vital role in inspiring and supporting the development of the next generation of computing learners. We offer a range of qualificationsfrom Level 1 Level 3 and are starting to deliver T-levels as from September 2021. The applicant must have appropriate means of travel to attend both campuses (Abingdon and Witney) as the morning and afternoon sessions are split across the two sites. Successfulapplicants would be required to provide a clean DBS. Although no formal teaching qualification is necessary, this would be an advantage. However, this role would suit someone with a keen interest for the FE sector, or an IT specialist looking to pass on theirexperience to the next generation. This role may be eligible for the Taking Teaching Further (TTF) programme, which supports industryprofessionals coming to teach in further education.
