HGV technicianCompetitive Salary plus Veolia benefits *listed belowLocation: Westlinks, WembleyHours: 11.30am - 8pm Monday to Friday Do you hold an NVQ Level 2 vehicle qualification and have experience of working on HGV vehicles, or better still, refuse collection trucks If so, we have an opening for you to join a friendly team of technicians who service our fleet of HGVs. Having an LGV license would be preferred for this role but not essential, as we have opportunities for training and development. What youll do As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for the day to day service and repairs of our Heavy Goods Vehicles. You will keep our HGVs safely on the road so our street-side operatives can carry out their duties for our millions of customers. You will be responsible for carrying out routine vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs to make sure our fleet is reliable, available and safe. We maintain four contracts at with a 300+ Fleet size. The variety of vehicle varies from small sweepers to 32T loaders. Each engineer has their own working bay. On site we have ATF facilities that operates once a fortnight.Our HGV Technicians are crucial to our operation, they literally keep our wheels turning.
