Job Description

Desktop Engineer£24,000 to £30,000London/HybridCobalt is once again thrilled to be partnering with one of the UKs leading specialists in commercial property and asset management, with over £20 billion worth of assets under the management of REITs, Fund Managers, and other proprietors.About the Role:Primarily focusing on their imaging, configuration, and installations, on mobile devices and workstations. Supporting the infrastructure team by being the first line of support for requests to the Tech support team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Enrolment of and installation of antivirus clients on endpoints and mobile devices and ensuring they are fully functioning and operational
  • Ensuring operating systems and software on endpoints are updated and patched
  • Provision of triage and first-line support for infrastructure support requests & incidents sent to the Tech Helpdesk
  • Support the delivery of new security products as defined by the Head of Infrastructure and the Head of the department
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of working in a similar role
  • Experience with endpoint management and lifecycle tools, Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, Office 365, Bitlocker, IIS
  • Extensive knowledge of multiple operating systems and hardware
  • Experience in working as part of a technical security team
  • Supporting users in multiple locations in a cross-platform environment
