Job Description

Health EconomistLeading UK Health Analytics Practice, Based Central London£Negotiable, plus excellent package and bonusThis is an excellent opportunity for a Masters or PhD educated Health specialist to join a leading UK Health Analytics practice in their London offices. Working in a core role, you will be responsible for developing innovative cost models aiming to realign incentives across the health sector to transition from illness to health. This will include:

  • Designing solutions to the complex problems clients in the healthcare and life sciences industry face
  • Manage a team of data scientists and healthcare professionals in the delivery of different phases of projects, co-ordinating data management and analysis.
  • Design and develop traditional HTA and innovative costs models to leading population health challenges including working with and incorporating approaches from colleagues in actuarial and insurance teams.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of cost impacts of recent trends in conditions/diseases driving healthcare demand, usage and morbidity patterns in the UK.
    • To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
  • 5 years experience in the healthcare and/or life sciences industry, preferably in the UK and with analytic familiarity with electronic health records.
  • At least a 2.1 degree and a health related Masters or PhD (Health Economics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Data Science)
  • Strong Analytical background with a desire to apply quantitative skills to solving real-world problems in health.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • A desire to further develop your career in Health Analytics.
