Job Description

Our client is a a global digital marketing agency, this role will be joining the client Retail and Experientuial team within their retail marketing group specailsing in th e Retail and Experiential activation.They provide an end-to-end service to thier clients from strategic planning, design, production and operations of retail stores (permanent & temporary), pop-up activations, FF&E production to roadshows and events (new product launches, media events and more).OverviewWe are looking for an ambitious and innovative Head of UX to lead this discipline within our Client.This role will be responsible for driving the UX function and capability within our cleint - leading thier UX Design and Research team, building out our tools and resources, and driving delivery of world-class output and products across digital and omnichannelexperiences.Detailed ProfileSpecifically, the ideal candidate for this role will probably have many of the below experiences/qualities:

  • Existing Head of UX experience, or a senior UX Design leader with line management experience looking to make the step-up
  • A mix of experience across both agency and client organizations would be useful; some experience in an agency or consultancy environment is important
  • Culture leader, able to drive the UX discipline within both agency and client organizations, with a passion for Design Thinking methodology and Human-Centred Design principles and approach, and an interest in broader experience design application
  • Relationship builder, who maximizes the possibilities of collaboration and internally and with clients and 3rd parties, and navigates complexity and ambiguity with maturity
  • Team leader, looking to maximize the potential of every member of their team
  • Desire to deliver world-class UX output, and with case studies that demonstrate this in action
  • Hands-on approach - a leader who is also willing to get involved and jump into projects
  • Deep knowledge of user-centred design and human computer interaction principles, techniques, and processes
  • Comfortable with embracing our design system and solving customer problems through best possible design approach
  • Experience in planning/overseeing user research and usability testing
  • Previous experience with e-Commerce and technology brands
  • Tools experience: Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, PowerPoint, Jira, Mural, Invision
