Job Description

Location: We operate a flexible, hybrid working model, however the successful candidate must be able to work from an Arqiva office two days a week as required.Summary:

  • Leading and overseeing an agile team to ensure water build, install, operate and maintain are delivered to the timescales and costs expected
  • Fully responsible for the assurance of quality and safe working practices
  • Be accountable for up to £10mil of delivery budget .
  • To influence and coordinate the activities both direct and indirect resources, processes and third party suppliers.
  • Accountable for the customer delivery plan and execution for site build, and oversight of water meter installations
  • Define the end to end operational process for site build & water install with Ops & Technology experts
  • Establish a core end to end data set so progress can be tracked, issues identified and actions taken so we build to the required cadence (safely and to the requisite quality).
  • Oversee with procurement the management of a range of 3rd party providers as part of our end to end process for site build and water installs. This includes key SLAs aligned to our end to end operational process for site build & water installMinimum
  • Play an integral role into the Programme supporting network strategy, roll-out and system development.
  • Lead the cross functional team required to deliver site build & water install with Ops & Technology leads - including those roles specifically identified in estates, supply chain, service design and operations
  • Manage the complex dependencies and interfaces across the operational environment to ensure that resources are aligned, priorities established and issues escalated are resolved.
  • Deliver effective financial control and governance for operational and capitalised costs for all activities within this workstream.
  • Lead and guide senior stakeholder groups, providing progress and status reports to ensure engagement and commitment to operational delivery.
Preferred Experience:
  • Understand Strategy and Business Deliverables and convert into agile practical operational processes to facilitate success.
  • Outcome driven, and able to design services and service offerings, operating models, service modelling, requirements management and process engineering
  • Growth Mindset: Committed and open to change and challenging the status quo.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and able to interpret complex customer requirements ·
  • An awareness of Six Sigma / Lean desirable.
  • Experience of using Jira and ServiceNow desirable.
