Job Description

Head of Sales sought by an international manufacturer of polymer solutions, supplying construction, industrial and automotive industries. They’re now looking for a Head of Sales to take responsibility for their southern region. The Role:The Role:Reporting to the Sales Director for Window Solutions you will support their business strategy by leading and developing the southern regional sales team of 5 to maximise effectiveness and deliver sustainable and profitable business growth.The role will consist of:

  • Ultimate responsibility for sales, profit and cost control of the southern region
  • Providing strategic leadership and support to the southern sales team
  • Conducting regular team performance reviews and evaluating and optimising sales
  • Negotiating and monitoring customer contracts
  • Implementing customer marketing and sales campaigns
  • Identifying market trends and market opportunities
  • Supporting existing key accounts and opportunity management
  • Monitoring the order/quotation process and reporting statistics regarding forecasting incoming orders, sales volume, gross margin and costs
  • Ensuring legal compliance at all times
  • The successful Head of Sales should have:
  • Previous experience of management in PVCu windows business to business
  • Strong working knowledge of the construction industry and the fenestration market
  • Good understanding of route to market in particular windows fabrication and specification sales
  • Can demonstrate proven success in business acquisition
  • Proven leadership skills, leading from the front
  • Educated to a degree level
  • Exposure to windows solutions sector specific knowledge fabricators, architects, specifyers, contractors
  • Well-developed communications skills
  • Based on patch in the south of England
