Job Description

Brilliant opportunity for a Head of Product Management to join a leading B2B2C organisation on a 6 month contract. You will have the opportunity to conduct a product audit, define the strategy and market ambitions for the product portfolio.Client DetailsThis client are a security protection company, providing safety solutions to organisations.Description

  • Define strategic aims and market ambitions for product portfolio.
  • Conduct a product audit - analyse market and strategise a unique product vision based on customer needs.
  • Drive product roadmap - identifying trends and opportunities for company.
  • Recommend and document new product opportunities. Review, justify and quantify all new product opportunities.
  • Define scope and requirements for new engineering development projects.
  • Communicate product roadmaps, product strategy, and implementation plans.
  • Full end-to-end product ownership through the entire NPD process and product lifecycle; NPD documentation, Go-to-market plans, Pricing, Product trials and obsolescence.
  • Work with the marketing and sales team to develop marketing materials, strategies, and tools to support selling efforts. Ensure appropriateness of the material to the respective product.
  • Periodic review of the portfolio to identify areas for optimisation.
  • Regularly communicating product updates to the sales team.
  • Working with the Marketing leads across business units to ensure all product information is up to date across all relevant platforms.
  • Make regular visits to partners and audiences to understand their respective strategies and ensure alignment.
Profile
  • Ideally, experience in a mechanical industry - such as engineering, manufacturing/production, rail, energy etc. Heavily regulated industries would also be considered.
  • Must be comfortable working in a standalone product position.
  • Experience working alongside Marketing teams, sales teams and production teams.
  • Immediately available or have a short notice period.
Job Offer
  • Immediate start
  • 6 month contract, with scope to turn permanent.
  • Day rate - £600 - £700 per day - inside IR35.
  • London based - hybrid and flexible working.
