My client are looking for a driven and capable marketing professional to develop a new marketing function alongside a marketing strategy and lead our marketing activity through our next period of growth. The successful candidate will have proven experiencein developing and driving marketing strategy from start-up to scale, experience in digital marketing, managing successful acquisition and retention campaigns, and working with refer and commission models and affiliate partnerships.This role would suit a marketing professional who has spent the last 5-8 years’ operating as a senior marketing lead, and now looking to truly own, direct and deliver the marketing strategy for an impactful and fast-moving social business that is preparingto grow rapidly.Key Responsibilities:• Develop the overall marketing strategy for the business across all channels for new and existing customers.• Determine budget and resource requirements to deliver and implement the marketing strategy. • Determine where budget would be most effectively utilised.• Act as the voice of Fair Finance by determining the messaging and nature of communications which go to customers. • Determine and deliver a plan of marketing activities that drive value and align with the digital transformation programme roadmap.• Ensure the quality of any creative and media material, working with third parties where necessary.• Take ownership for the development of, and ongoing improvements to, the Fair Finance website.• Build the marketing knowledge, capability and expertise of colleagues and team members. • Deliver regular and ad hoc reporting on performance of all marketing activities.• Any other duties as required by the Company that are commensurate with the position.Skills and Experience:• Demonstrable ability to develop marketing strategy and lead marketing projects and campaigns.• Strong experience in all paid, earned and owned digital channels across a range of budgets.• Experience of analysing and optimising the customer journey and customer touchpoints.• Effectively utilising a data driven/evidence-based approach to marketing.• Ability to analyse and understand marketing metrics and demonstrate commercial awareness.• Budget management experience across campaigns, projects and BAU.• Ability to translate complex concepts and insights into accessible and straightforward recommendations.• Mindset of continuous improvement, and a desire to make recommendations to enhance the organisation’s proposition, product and experience.• Broad experience of marketing platforms and technology.• Experience working with and managing third parties including digital, creative and media agencies.• Experience working with agile teams.• Ability to manage external relationships with third parties including brokers, and to develop successful partnerships with other organisations.• Experience leading and managing a small team.• Strong influencing and negotiating skills.• Marketing experience which has been gained from a good mix of organisations.• Experience of financial products and consumer credit is desirable but not essential .Hybrid role - 3 Days in Office (London)
