Job Description

Head of Logistics - Rapidly Growing Fashion Retailer - Remote, London & Travelling£75,000 - £95,000I am searching for a Logistics expert with international experience to join an exciting and transforming team and provide leadership to the global operational requirements of an outdoor fashion brand. You will have a hands-on approach to take on this seniorrole within a fast-paced but close-knit culture, working internationally to take full ownership of global supply chain from PO placement to fulfilment, optimising costs to meet the ambitions of the brand and overall business goals.Managing a spend of £15-20m across logistics & distribution, you will have international experience, preferably within US, Europe and Asia, and report to the Operations Director and have ten direct reports. The role can be offered remotely, with expectationto go into the Head Office in London twice per month. The role will however include travel within the UK and internationally.Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manager an overall logistics strategy, optimising costs, data and product flows to maximise growth and efficiency.
  • Oversee 3PLs within the UK, EU, US and Vietnam
  • Represent Supply Chain department at multi-disciplinary meetings using commercial and technical expertise to inform business decisions.
  • Manage a growing team of ten direct reports, development, and mentorship
  • Budgetary and cost management responsibility for the logistics department. Work closely with the sustainability teams to enhance the way the business delivers products to customers.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • International experience and knowledge in global logistics, 3PL management, and heading up supply chain strategy and optimisation.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience developing and mentoring a team to high standards, with a global mindset, working across counties and cultures.
  • Ideally a fashion background or similar paced organisation understanding the complexity of multi-product/category portfolios and fulfilment in an omni-channel sales environment.
  • Experience within both B2B and D2C operations, owning and managing significant P&Ls.
