Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Head of IT Security to join the team.Location: LondonSalary: Competitive + BenefitsAbout the client:They are a global unified payment technology group bringing together technology and financial services into an omnichannel solution.Head of IT Security – The Role:In this role, you will own all IT Security assurance activities and be responsible for establishing and maintaining a company-wide information security management program and information security strategy that aligns with our organizations mission and values,ensuring the protection of our digital assets and the privacy of our clients and partners.Head of IT Security – Key Responsibilities:- Mature and monitor the enterprise information security and IT risk management program. Ensure IT security risk assessments and risk management is undertaken throughout the business- Manage and develop the company’s information security management framework- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards applicable to the fintech industry, such as PCI-DSS, DORA, GDPR, or ISAE 3402- Lead the IT security team, defining its roles and responsibilities, and building the necessary capabilities to safeguard our digital assets, data, and systems against cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and breaches- Manage the development and enforcement of IT security policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring their alignment with industry best practices and legal/regulatory requirements- Manage information security incident response and recovery efforts in the event of security breaches or incidents, coordinating with internal teams and external partners as necessary- Stay informed about emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies to proactively adapt our security measures to address new challenges- Provide leadership in driving a culture of security awareness and best practices throughout the organization, conducting employee training and awareness programs- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to ensure that security is an integral part of our projects, applications, and systems, from designHead of IT Security – You:- Proven experience in IT security leadership within the financial services sector, including the development and implementation of IT security strategies and processes- Demonstrated success in building and managing effective IT security teams and overseeing security operations- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts in an engaging and understandable manner- Detailed understanding of Information Security standards & frameworks (ISO27001, Cyber Essentials+, NIST, PCI, DORA etc.)- In-depth knowledge of current digital security trends, emerging threats, and best practices for content distribution and protection- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities efficiently to enhance overall security and productivityHead of IT Security – Benefits:- Opportunity to be part of a rapidly scaling and market-leading Fintech business- Health and Wellbeing ethos including regular wellness sessions, fitness and nutrition and other events as well as supported by internally qualified mental health first aiders- Family-friendly enhanced benefits/policies- Pension, Healthcare, Life Assurance- Social events and team buildingTo submit your CV for this exciting Head of IT Security opportunity, please click ‘Apply’ now!
