We are recruiting a Head of Internal Audit for a fast-growing financial services business. This is the companys first appointment of an in-house Head of Audit, currently the internal audit is outsourced to one of the Big4 firms. Reporting to the Chairof the Audit Committee, the Head of Internal Audit is responsible for developing and delivering the risk-based audit plan. You will work closely with the first and second line of defence functions as well as represent internal audit to external auditors andregulators where applicable. You will be responsible for determining an appropriate internal audit delivery model with regards balancing in-house and co-source resourcing as well as identifying the most suitable co-source provider.Ideally you will have helda Head of Internal Audit role previously, either as a Big4 co-source lead or in-house at a regulated financial services business. You will need to be comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders, regulators, and external auditors in multiple countries. Therole is based in Central London with hybrid working. There will be some requirements to travel internationally perhaps two or three trips per year.
