Our time horizon is long-term, our approach is disciplined, and our focus is on continuously improving the quality of thecustomer experience.Role Overview:Sitting within the Wholesale Operations function, the Head of Delegated and Governance is responsible for supporting underwriting and claims teams in meeting all expected standards. These include external regulatory requirements as well as internal standardsand in particular the additional controls over the delegation of underwriting and claims authorities.The role will oversee the Delegated Underwriting and Claims Administration teams, who provide a central service for the due-diligence process, oversight of operational performance, bordereaux administration and technical processing, credit control and managementreporting.What youll be doing:

• Provide leadership for the broad range of processes and procedures within the Wholesale Division to ensure they are working within the appropriate governance and regulatory frameworks.
• Oversee the administration of delegated underwriting and claims contracts across Wholesale including due diligence and technical processing, liaising with underwriters, claims, brokers, Coverholders and DCAs as required.
• Oversight of the operational performance of Coverholders and DCAs including the management of risk and claims bordereaux data and credit control with a focus on ensuring the accurate and timely recording of data to support downstream processes.
• Manage the workload of the teams to ensure that SLAs and data quality standards are met.

• Exceptional people management skills with a proven track record of leading high performing teams
• Familiarity with insurance industry regulation and control frameworks including delegated governance and consumer duty.
• A hands-on approach, with high energy levels and self-motivated, with the ability to inspire, mentor and lead others.
• Delivery mindset with strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing demands
• Customer-focused with great communication skills
• Operational management experience including developing, implementing, monitoring and continuously improving effective processes.
• Knowledge of underwriting, claims and delegated systems would be a benefit.
