Job Description

A Head of FP&A is required to work for fast growth, blue-chip, Listed Consumer business. Working in their Central London Headquarters ( flexible working when returned to "normal"), reporting to Head of Commercial Finance, you will be working as part of the senior management team managing a small team. The role offers a global remit and will partner with senior stakeholders based both in the UK and internationally, including presenting to the exec team.Working in a high-achieving, deadline-driven environment. The role will include challenging business performance and provide timely insight to Board, leading strategic planning and forecasting for the Group, and driving enhancements in the business intelligence and corporate reporting.The role has arisen due to an internal promotion and is an opportunity to work for a business that has achieved significant growth in 2020 including a 20% increase in global revenue, which you will play a key role in the businesss continued success and growth strategy throughout the next 5 years.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and leading a team, responsible for delivering weekly and monthly performance reporting.
  • Reviewing and challenging development proposals/ business cases
  • Lead and coordinate the preparation of the Group 5-year corporate plan and budget and group performance forecasts
  • Prepare performance reporting, budget and strategy papers for the Board and Exec team
  • Lead the preparation of the quarterly trading statements and FP&A aspects of half-year and year-end reporting and supporting the Managing Director Corporate Affairs with the preparation of stakeholder presentations at reporting periods
  • Lead ad-hoc projects for the Group CFO, Investor Relations Director, and Strategy Director
    • To be considered for you must a Qualified Accountant, with a minimum of 5 years experience operating at FP&A Manager level. You will have experience working for a global business, ideally within a consumer industry. You must have experience developing and leading a team and possess excellent interpersonal skills to be able to liaise with the wider finance team and senior management.The ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders is key to the success of this role, prior experience presenting to executive teams is essential. You will be a natural leader with the ability to develop your team as well as the ability to manage upwards.
