Job Description

I have partnered exclusively with a medium sized Bank headquartered in London on the search for an experienced commercially minded FP&A professional to join them in this newly created Head of FP&A position.Responsibilities in this role will include;

  • Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting, stress testing and scenario analysis processes (including regulatory scenario modelling), challenging outputs prior to sign off by Executive Directors.
  • Develop processes and control framework within the FP&A team
  • Develop the FP&A teams modelling capabilities and management of the teams models that fall under the model risk management policy
  • Work with the Prudential Risk team to complete the annual delivery of the ICAAP to Board Risk Committee
  • Liaise with Head of Treasury to manage liquidity stress scenarios in the Banks recovery plan, and to further improve forward looking liquidity analysis
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of a new planning and stress testing system
  • Lead a team of 3 direct reports and as a senior member of the finance team, act as cover and support where needed
You will be;
  • Qualified accountant with extensive experience leading an FP&A function
  • Experience with budget & forecasting processes within Financial Services is essential
  • Prudential knowledge, particularly in respect of capital planning and ICAAP is essential
  • Experience with data manipulation and visualisation
  • Knowledge and experience of systems such as Power BI, Alteryx and SQL is highly advantageous
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Energetic, confident and personable are essential characteristics to succeed in this role
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels within the business
  • Build trust, challenge and influence at a senior level
Salary on offer is £130k - £150k (depending on experience) + bonus, extensive benefits packageApply now to be considered
