Job Description

Job title: Head of Finance Systems & DataSalary: £60,000-£65,000paLocation; UK or NetherlandsStart date: No later than July 2021The Transformation team within Altum Consulting are pleased to be exclusively partnered with a global Manufacturing business in the permanent recruitment of a Head of Finance Systems & Data for their global headquarters. This role is remote based and flexible on location.Our client is a diversified, multinational company that strives to create new value through innovation. They employ c.40,000 employees over 50 countries with an annual turnover of $3billion. Forming a vital part of the Finance Transformation division, the Head of Finance Systems & Data is a newly created position that focuses on Finance Data modelling and System Architecture.Reporting into the Global Finance Transformation Director, immediate responsibilities are aligned to the mobilisation of several transformation programmes and include:

  • Understand and document as is’ and to be’ finance data model, data definitions and intersection points with other functions across the group finance community.
  • Develop a roadmap, plan and lead delivery of the alignment of finance data models and data definitions across the finance function, identifying, liaising and aligning with key finance and other stakeholders as required.
  • Document global finance systems and create roadmap to centralise this across the group.
    • The organisation needs to be able to put financial data at the heart of their decision making, both locally and globally to enable sound commercial business decisions to made. As a permanent position there is huge scope for growth in helping them achieve this. of work.The successful candidate will have the following experience:
  • Experience with financial accounting and reporting systems (ERP, BI, SAP, CRM, Hyperion or similar).
  • Experience working within a finance transformation programme.
  • Strong experience in Business Intelligence (BI), data analytics and modelling, business transformation, and project management.
  • Previous success in project delivery, analytical data manipulation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Skilled at managing projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience in the system development life cycle, business process and data model design, and ERP solution design and delivery.
  • Familiar with and able to work in a multi-national and inter-cultural environment.
