Job Description Excellent opportunity for a well rounded finance professional to lead the finance function with a management consultancy firm making a difference Morgan McKinley is excited to be partnered with a leading management consultancy firm based in London. The business seeks to employ a well-rounded head of finance who brings a confident, entrepreneurial, and hard-working approach. The role requires a qualifiedprofessional with demonstrable experience across operational finance management, financial planning, and analysis as well the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounting operations, including Billing, AR, AP, GL, Cost Accounting, WIP, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Prepare insightful monthly financial statements.
  • Oversee cash management and liquidity.
  • Direct budget preparation, reporting variances.
  • Work alongside the CFO to prepare and present insightful reports for presentation to senior stakeholders, both internal and external, to support strategic initiatives
  • Review and suggest improvements to business-critical metrics, identify trends and prepare weekly flash reports.
  • Streamline, strengthen and document business processes and internal controls to improve efficiencies.
  • Manage the audit process, quarterly VAT quarterly submissions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and analyse financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Conduct in-depth financial modelling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis to support decision-making processes and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, offering insights into trends, opportunities, and risks.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Proven track record in implementing financial processes, controls, and systems.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Ability to focus on detailed analysis, as well as high level summary reporting.
  • Strong experience in Excel modelling of budgets, forecasting, and business opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
