Job Description

Head of Finance, central London, part-time / hybridWe are an established Accountancy & Finance Recruitment business, with offices in London & Reading. With a growing headcount of 21, c£3m revenue, across 2 offices we are looking to hire an experienced Finance Controller / Head of Finance on a part-time basis.We are owner managed, with a strong culture, and an established finance and operations team. With a Finance Assistant to lead, the role has a nice variety of finance, operations and projects. We have always valued the position and see it as a critical rolein the leadership team.With hybrid working, we are looking for an individual who recognises that variety in the role, requires a team-player, and an adaptable openminded attitude. As a business we have lots to do, with a growing headcount, there are projects on the horizon includingbringing our interim payroll inhouse & upgrading the office space.Some of your key responsibilities will be: Finance* Management Accounts for London & Southeast offices* Interim and permanent revenue forecasting* Cashflow updates / monitoring the bank* Processing supplier payments / monthly expense payments* End to end monthly payroll (to include HMRC notices, RTI, Nest etc)* Calculation of commissions and sending out monthly comms statements* Annual budgeting* Annual accounts preparation and submission to Ruskells* HMRC payments (corporation tax, monthly PAYE, VAT etc)* Leadership of one team member, who is responsible for all Finance & Operations assistant tasksOther* Tracking & preparation of quarterly awards* New employee contract admin, along with probation / promotion tracking* Manage relationship with Landlords* Ownership of IT providers and internal maintenanceWe are looking for:* Qualified accountant* Hands on finance experience in an SME, ideally from the recruitment sector* Broad skills set, and happy operating at all levels* Fun, flexible and open-minded approach to work* Strong experience with Sage, Excel and PowerPointAt Trace, we are committed to ensuring the entire process is inclusive and accessible for all candidates that fit the minimum requirements for our role.
