Head of Faculty - Creative Industries £51,144 - £56,442 per annum37 hours per week52 weeks per annumAbingdon CampusPermanentAre you passionate about inspiring the next generation of creative professionals through harnessing the power of learning and creativity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, dynamic and proactive professional to lead the Faculty of Creative Industries at Abingdon and Witney College. The faculty provides excellent teaching and learning experiences to students across Art and Design, Media and Games Development, Performance and Production and Music Technology curriculum areas. Courses range from introductory entry level to level 4 and prepare students to progress to high-ranking universities and conservatoires and/or to work in many different creative fields.The Head of Faculty will provide strategic direction and leadership across the Faculty ensuring that we further develop the highest quality standards of teaching, learning and assessment to ensure that students exceed their own and our expectations in all aspects of their programmes. You will develop and implement highly effective innovative curriculum design and delivery models incorporating skills and practice to meet the ever-changing demands within this fast-paced sector.You will be an innovative leader with proven experience of leading and motivating curriculum teams, working with internal and external stakeholders to improve quality and develop provision. You will be an advocate for the arts and demonstrate a clear vision for how learning through creativity ensures that all our students leave college fully prepared for their next steps.
