A major membership body in London are seeking a Head of digital to join the team. The purpose of this role is to drive their digital first strategy, dynamically developing our digital products and services using an Agile methodology to deliver impact atscale and optimise reach and engagement.This is a hybrid role, 3 days on site in London.Responsibilities:- This is an existing role in an established team. The postholder leads, supports and line manages the digital team.- Leads on the procurement, implementation and delivery of new digital products including prioritising a new CMS and wider product updates.- Maintains an effective strategic overview of digital roadmap and services, providing the leading voice for digital strategy.- The postholder leads a data driven and evidence-based project team prioritising the user journey with an outcome focused approach.- The postholder will also be responsible for leading internal working groups and monitoring outcomes and effective delivery models.- The role will lead a team that works to the 80/20 rule, 80% of digital delivery being proactive, with 20% reactive. The post is both operational and strategic and must focus on long-term goals whilst working to tight and fluid deadlines for reactive delivery.Experience:- Significant experience in the successful management and delivery of digital platforms, leading on CMS procurement, budgeting and implementation, and leading a CMS taskforce or similar.- Evidence of delivering impact through the development and implementation of digital strategies, products, and services.- Proven experience of working at a senior and strategic level within the private, public, or voluntary sectors.- Experience of leading a significant digital change programme that has had a transformative impact on the way an organisation serves its users and delivers its digital services.- Experience in managing the development and delivery of a portfolio of work.- Robust knowledge and experience of budgeting and management of financial and digital products and resources.- Ability to lead a data driven approach, establishing effective dashboards to drive decision making, embed a test and learn approach and optimise digital performance.- Demonstrable track record of developing, formatting, curating and scheduling content to drive impact at scale for an organisation prioritising SEO.- Up to date knowledge of digital platforms and technologies, including data management.
