Job Description

HEAD OF DATA SCIENCE - CREDIT UP TO £140,000LONDON (HYBRID)THE COMPANYThis is an amazing opportunity to join one of the UKs fastest growing fintechs offering personal loans and credit cards where you will lead the Credit Data Science team.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helping the team of 4 data scientists in building and validating regulatory-compliant ML models.
  • Presenting key information to stakeholders and the rest of the team.
  • Manage and lead the current optimising scorecards project and takle the opportunity to leverage AI across the business.
  • Working on a variety of Credit Risk Data Science modelling techniques.
  • Enhancing data science techniques whilst guiding and mentoring junior members of the team
  • Working with core C-level stakeholders on acceptance and Data Science Strategy
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in SQL and Python is essential.
  • Must have a background in credit risk or subprime lending.
  • Ideally managed a small team.
  • Ability to think independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • MSc or PhD in a relevant field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.)
THE BENEFITS
