Job Description

The Role:

  • Work with the Head of Distribution and other senior management to strategise across the business to ultimately raise assets and ensure long-term growth
  • Help with oversight of small a team of sales individuals across various locations and geographies
  • Manage the sales process from qualifying to closing
  • Assist in driving brand recognition and business development efforts in relevant markets
  • Develop and maintain a strong technical understanding of the firms products and strategies to effectively and confidently discuss with clients and prospects.
  • Research and identify new client / relationship development opportunities
  • Confidently present to clients, prospects and intermediaries on the company’s investments and funds/strategies
  • Build rapport, and work with fund / investment management teams effectively
  • Be able to have constructive input to sales process and help develop ideas around efficiency for wider business development function
  • Contribute to the production of high-quality sales and marketing materials and marketing activity
  • Know the key investors and the demand of strategies
  • Map the region and expand the client base to all different segments of investors, with a primary focus on institutional and wholesale markets
  • Know the competitor funds for both ICAV funds and FOHF business in your region and provide feedback to the Sales team
  • Assist each manager/product on theplatforms to get visibility in your region, with regular physical and virtual roadshows within your region.
  • Expect to work from the office and travel for meetings
  • Be aware and adhere to all relevant compliance requirements and keep up to date with relevant regulatory developments. FCA approved persons should consider how they can demonstrate ongoing competence required for specific role.
  • Adhere to the highest standard of ethics and integrity in your day-to-day activity.
Requirements
  • Strong academic background
  • Fluent in German
  • Strong, demonstrable experience within a leadership sales function in asset management including working with institutional investors and wholesale investors.
  • Broad asset class knowledge, ideally with liquid alternatives or hedge fund experience, with private markets a bonus.
  • You are able to work on multiple tasks and manage unforeseen urgencies
  • You have high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work with teams across a range of departments
