Job Description

HEAD OF COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT An incredibly exciting opportunity has presented itself for a skilled and innovative manager to a creative office and studio space provider in London.This role will to improve all aspects of the member experience, working with some incredibly creative businesses to ensure their working spaces, wellbeing and social experience the best they can be. You will see evaluate each touch point with the members as an opportunity to exceed expectations and to ensure each business feels connected to and supported by the community.This role oversees a range of responsibilities from staff management, customer service, renewals, retention management, FOH, facilities and events therefor, a diverse skill set and flexible approach are needed.This is a fast-paced customer facing role suited to an experienced manager with a passion for people and the creative industries.Based at the Head Office in East London, you will oversee customer experience across all of sites.Values

  • Develop the FOH team to oversee the day to day running of the building and act as an informative and welcoming hub to members and guests.
  • Ensure the building is perfect, well maintained and safe at all times. Manage the agency security, concierge and cleaning teams. Complete checks and records relating to the sites; e.g., risk assessments, incident reports, fire alarm testing.
  • Implement systems to monitor the performance of key areas to provide consistent improvement and a targeted response to any problems.
  • Deal with complex member enquiries, treating each case as an opportunity to exceed expectations. Manage communication between members and relevant departments e.g. maintenance, IT and electrical as appropriate.
  • Lead on community culture and networking events. Ensure you and your team actively facilitate collaboration by getting to know members and their work, introducing people and organising relevant, enjoyable events.
  • Manage relationships with on-site retail, wellness, food & beverage, ensuring these spaces are beneficial to our members and wider communities.
  • Oversee the lease renewal process for all members, striving to exceed retention and renewal rental targets.
  • Oversee all lease renewal administration, ensuring all documents are issued, signed and filed correctly.
  • Assist the sales team by conducting viewings with potential members.
  • Lead the annual Open Day event with a focus on current member participation and event management.
  • Essential Experience and Skills
  • Minimum 2 years management experience.
  • Extensive experience in customer and community focused environment.
  • Ability to understand the specific needs of the members and respond to them appropriately.
  • An understanding of both the workspace market and the creative sectors
  • Good understanding of IT and CCTV systems.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in order to maintain highest levels of renewals
