Job Description

Head of Commercial FinancePE backed Technology sectorLondon + Working from Home hybridTo £110,000 + realistic 30% bonusThis market leading, rapidly growing and immensely well-funded business has experienced 50% YoY growth for the past 3 years. This growth is forecast to continue and indeed increase over the next 3 years.To help facilitate this continued success, this highly entrepreneurial and dynamic organisation is now seeking a talented Head of Commercial Finance.Leading a team of impressive finance business partners, the role includes:

  • Drive financial insight into Group investment plans with particular emphasis on CAPEX spend, playing a key role in Exec level CAPEX discussions
  • Deliver clear performance analysis and insight - providing strategies, support and challenge across the business
  • Partner with senior leaders across the business to drive quality business decisions and actions
  • Clear articulation of future implications of current performance and close work with key stakeholders to identify appropriate strategies and actions
  • Ownership of KPIs, assuring the data quality and pertinence of metrics used, and using a combination of financial and non-financial data to provide quality insight that can be acted upon
  • Provide critically assessed guidance and inputs into the long-range business plan and consider key sensitivities required. Key member of the core financial team driving the long-range plan, owning and validating key inputs
  • Lead, coach, develop and inspire a high-quality team, bringing your experience to implement a people development strategy that builds on the existing team, as well as bringing in new, specialist skills where necessary.
Candidate profile requirements:
  • Currently in a Commercial Finance leadership role, leading a high performing team & partnering senior commercial stakeholders
  • Significant experience of directly impacting large financial CAPEX decisions
  • Demonstrable examples of best in class coaching and leadership
  • Experience of working within Technology or related sector would be an advantage but not essential
  • Working within a CAPEX intensive company is essential
  • Ambition, drive and intellectual horsepower
