Job Description

OverviewLink Pension Administration Limited (R&SS (EMEA) was acquired from Smart Pension Ltd., in January 2020. An Enterprise (Target) Architecture has been defined and approved by the Architecture Governance Council to transform our capabilities making them fitfor the next 5 years and beyond. Funding has been approved for delivery along with funding for the necessary operating model changes.The Head of Change Management will be responsible for delivery of a portfolio of business and technology change projects delivering our target architecture, business change and projects which support the planned business growth. As well as responsibly forprofessional project, programme/portfolio delivery, assurance and governance.The role holder will be a visionary leader, accountable for setting the vision and direction to deliver a single view of change across the business. Being a credible subject matter expert in transformational change, and will be responsible for leading, planningand the governance of our change portfolio, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and that the R&SS EMEA pensions business provides exceptional and continual enhancement of services to its clients and their customers. This role will alsolead, develop and inspire our change delivery team, enabling best-in-class change delivery.R&SS EMEA has strong growth ambitions which will be achieved organically through growth of existing client business, new clients and through acquisition. Key responsibilities will include change management due diligence, input to RFPs, and subsequent planningand delivery of the technology and operating model integration/consolidation projects.The role holder will be someone who has had solid hands-on experience and can provide direction, guidance and assurance across change management, business change, technology change. The role holder will also have experience of working with third party suppliers,line and matrixed managed resources, including offshore.Key Accountabilities and main responsibilitiesStrategic Focus

  • Provide overall strategic and operational leadership of business change and technology delivery including planning, evaluation, and co-ordination of all change & IT initiatives
  • Develop a deep understanding of R&SS (EMEA) business needs, strategy, market proposition and regulatory framework; provide change leadership in the delivery of the business goals
  • Work closely with business leaders to prioritise the key change initiatives and technology deliverables
  • Create and maintain a change roadmap for R&SS (EMEA), to include operating model, and technology change, identifying investment costs that are aligned to the overall strategic priorities
  • Provide change leadership for new business opportunities through organic growth, new clients and acquisitions
  • Proactively contribute to both the R&SS business and technology leadership teams
Operational Management
  • Develop, maintain & deliver the R&SS (EMEA) transformation roadmap
  • Identify and effectively manage required investment costs
  • Deliver an effective change management model
  • Provide change leadership in the delivery of new business
  • Work with shared R&SS & Group teams and third-party suppliers to ensure they provide services to agreed standards
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders internal and external to Link Group
  • Drive Continuous Improvement in Change & IT team and wider business
People Leadership
  • Build and provide operational leadership to the R&SS (EMEA) Change function
  • Manage a team of change professionals: project managers and business analyst
  • Provide a clear and consistent vision of the change roadmap; lead by example of the values and professionalism expected by clients and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate change leadership; engage line and matrixed portfolio and projects actors and wider stakeholders
  • Demonstrate integrity and support our people as we drive through significant change, building a collaborative and supportive team
  • Act with integrity and role model the Link Group values at all times.

Governance and Risk
  • Anticipate and plan for any regulatory and legislative change and implement required solution changes to ensure continued compliance
  • Lead the management of risks, dependencies and issues associated with business change & technology delivery

Experience & Personal Attributes
  • 5+ years experience in senior leadership roles
  • Relevant qualification(s)
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering business change, TOM development and operational efficiency
  • Experienced practitioner in a recognised change management methodology; e.g. AIM, Lean/6Sigma
  • Demonstratable experience leading a change function at a senior level in a large organisation
  • Proven ability to problem solve and provide creative solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with people at all levels of the organisation
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and trust with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience of financial services industry
  • Experience of working within regulated environment (preferable)
  • Highly effective influencing skills
  • Strong business acumen and experience in managing financials and budgets
  • Cross cultural awareness and experience operating in a senior role across a global organization
  • Able to use highly developed analytical skills and proven experience in using data to develop insights, support decision making and assess value
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on coaching and developing teams
