Job Description

The Role:As Head of Biddable & Performance you will take full ownership of our global biddable initiatives. Leading the paid search, paid social, and programmatic teams, you will design market-specific strategies, deliver effective and innovative campaigns to drivegrowth. You will also work cross-functionally with other departments (broader digital, trade, global marketing, and advocacy) to drive product revenue, customer acquisition, and brand love. Crucially, you will work closely with our creative team to deliverbest-in-class assets and formats suitable for various biddable environments.As a cross-channel leader, you will be a key player in driving various KPIs, including but not limited to revenue and brand awareness. You will cater for the consumer journey holistically, drive synergies across media, and ensure our performance is greaterthan the sum of its (channel) parts.As the teams lead, you will also coach and develop your team members, help bring the best out of every individual to deliver high performance, while ensuring team cohesion.Operating in a hyper-growth environment, the role is fast-paced, dynamic, multi-tasking, and entrepreneurial. This role is perfect for someone who is an expert in the biddable/ performance space with proven record in leadership and management in high-growth,high-performance businesses.Role Accountabilities:

  • Build a digital media strategy to drive revenue, customer growth and retention for CharlotteTilbury.com and the Charlotte Tilbury App.
  • Manage, coach, and develop the Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic teams.
  • Lead channel forecasting, budget management, and be accountable for channels P&L.
  • Work closely with channel leads to drive weekly trade targets and continuous improvements.
  • Proactively source innovation and growth opportunities, from the adoption of relevant alphas/ betas to onboarding of new platforms/ partners.
  • Work closely with Data Science team to define, evolve, and deliver our Scientific Marketing vision, including but not limited to MMM/ MTA informed channels/ budgets decision-making.
  • Work closely with Global Brand Marketing team, and in-house Creative Agency to create best in class digital assets across channels.
  • Represent Performance Marketing team in campaign and creative forums, and proactively shape campaigns for NPD/ Core products, Tech, Seasonal, and Purpose-led moments.
  • Collaborate with Global Organic Social, and Global Advocacy teams to create innovative viral campaigns to drive product sales, brand awareness, and brand advocacy.
  • Lead and support channel leads in the negotiation of strategic Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with big tech (e.g. Google, Meta, TikTok).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive 1st party data growth, contribute to audience segmentation and activation efforts.
  • Support the sourcing, screening, and onboarding of relevant Martech/ Ad Tech stack.
  • Help accelerate our learning agenda in the Convergent TV space.
  • Support Local Marketing teams with awareness-consideration digital media buying for their respective regions.
  • Support cross-functional teams to drive boundary-stretching, and future-looking initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of trends, innovation, best practice, put them into operation, and help educate the wider team regarding these latest developments.
  • Monitor competitors and keep pace with changing consumer behaviour and macro-dynamics.
  • Help foster a data-driven, best-practice led, high-performance culture.
Reporting Relationships:You will report to the Director of Performance Media & SEO, while line managing three channel leads (Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic) and their respective teams. Requirements Key Selection Criteria:
  • 10 Years experience in biddable media/ performance marketing, with a minimum of 4 years experience in managing a mid to large size team.
  • Proven record in multi-million budget, strategy, and stakeholders management.
  • Proven record impacting all parts of the consumer journey, driving direct response, and other mid-up funnel metrics, e.g. consideration, awareness.
  • Fluency in and sensitivity to financial metrics and P&L.
  • Up-to-date hands-on experience across all biddable channels would be a strong bonus.
  • Strong experience in Google Analytics and/or other analytics platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to connect disparate data to derive meaningful and testable hypotheses, and drive improvements.
  • Experience in managing the creative/ content briefing process.
  • Experience collaborating with data science team in areas such as, Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA).
  • Experience in 1st party data strategy and execution would be a strong bonus.
  • Experience in DTC brands in beauty, luxury sectors, and/or high-growth businesses would be a strong bonus.
  • A flexible self-starter with a can-do attitude, willing to go the extra mile to deliver results.
  • Excellent communication/ presentation skills, and the ability to translate complex channel level observations into actionable insights.
  • A business leader who can work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders internally and externally.
  • A supportive and sympathetic manager who are in tune with his/her team.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, tolerance for ambiguity, and readiness to adapt to changing priorities dynamically.
