Director, biotech, science, scientist, research, analytical, cell, protein, immunology, job, GMP, gene The Company My client is an upcoming and rapidly expanding London based Biotech who have secured significant investment to develop the latest generation of advanced CAR-T cell-based therapeutics. They have a strong preclinical pipeline as well as key products they are looking to move forward to early stage clinical trials. The Role We are looking for a Head of Analytical Development who will lead the setup, implementation and scientific strategy for analytical development for clinical grade T-cell products for the launch of their first round of clinical trials. This will involve both earlier stage analytical development but also leading the tech transfer and QC capabilities for GMP manufacturing. This role is equivalent to Associate Director/Director and alongside strategic work the role would involve the leadership and management of an initial team of 4-5 research scientists with a view, to expand swiftly. The Candidate They are looking for a candidate with an in-depth understanding of the analytical development requirements of ATMPs, particularly those used to develop T cell-based immunotherapies who can also develop and manage the QC requirements for GMP manufacture.
