Established fintech mortgage lender needs an experienced finance professional to take responsibility for all financial reporting and statutory obligations as well as providing the executive management team with meaningful forecasting insights and planning information.You will lead a team working with senior members of all other departments e.g Credit and Portfolio management, to ensure that maintenance of sound financial control functions is uniform across the business as a whole. Specifically you will develop and maintain all ongoing internal and external financial management and reporting disciplines to ensure that the core business and related entities are managed to highly competent robust and fully compliant standards. You will have up to date knowledge of IFRS audit preparation as well as financial metrics including revenues, expenses, cash flow/burn etc and will manage and take full ownership of P&L, balance sheet and VAT.You will be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, with a senior level consumer finance background, proven experience and a good understanding of the mortgage industry and/or previous early stage fintech lender exposure would be advantageous.
