Job Description

This is a mainly remote-based role, potentially becoming hybrid 2/3 days in the office.Our client is a hugely successful, acquisitive & growing global US listed Financial Technology (FinTech) leader within S&P 500, who help clients transform their business with communications, technology, data and analytics solutions. Role Summary:Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, the Group Financial Analyst will act as a key person for the consolidation, analysis and reporting of the International groups.General Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with and support Finance associates in the field to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Assist in all aspects of the consolidation and review process for monthly, quarterly and annual US GAAP management accounting deliverables for International groups, assisting associates as required to ensure consistency across group.
  • Ad-hoc tasks within the department.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Assist in all aspects of the International group reporting for monthly, quarterly and annual information to GTO/Corporate teams (e.g. Actuals, Monthly forecasts, Annual Operating and Strategic Plan, adhoc).
  • Consolidation and ownership of Global revenue analysis file for actuals, forecast and plan reporting and analysis on a monthly, bi-annual and annual basis as required.
  • Assist in validation and analysis of global sales driver analysis
  • Tracking business losses and concession revenue impacts and their respective variances against plan and forecast, including consolidation and ownership of master files used in flash, forecast and quarterly analyst call deliverables
  • Group wide headcount tracking and monthly roll forward reporting, including coordination of headcount updates for Monthly forecasts, Annual Operating and Strategic Plan
  • Tracking Finance Department expenses against plan and forecast, including commentary to explain variances
  • Preparation of monthly Capex analysis, including coordination of Capex updates for Quarterly forecasts, Annual Operating and Strategic Plan
  • Compilation of consolidated actuals and forecast reporting for all deferred projects, showing variances to plan and prior Forecast, split by project
  • Provide cover for Group Finance Analysts in periods of absence
  • Any reasonable ad hoc duties as requested by the Group Finance VP or Group Finance Manager
Qualifications and Experience:The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with some post qualified experience in industry and previous experience of providing financial analysis in a commercial strict deadline environment. Any experience of US business or software/technologyindustry would be highly beneficial.Systems experience:
  • Strong excel skills (e.g. competent in the use of pivots, manipulation of large volumes of data, modelling, etc).
  • Prior experience of Oracle and TM1/PAX would be highly beneficial
