Job Description

Cobalt are working with an entrepreneurial, innovative FTSE 250 property investment company with a landmark estate in one of Londons busiest hub. The client is expanding and looking to grow into new markets.They are currently seeking a Group Financial Accountant to take ownership with the quarterly financial reporting process and be responsible of the Groups statutory accounts.

  • Assistance with quarterly consolidation, annual financial statements
  • Develop a detailed understanding and knowledge of the Group structure, including agreements and contracts applicable to entities
  • Regular monitoring and review to ensure costs and revenues have been correctly allocated
  • Liaison with internal stakeholders and auditors to ensure timely completion and approval of statutory accounts
  • Work closely with the Group Financial Reporting Manager to ensure changes in accounting policies
  • Coaching and development to junior team members
  • Provide leadership and support to third party suppliers of financial information and review of information received
  • Provide effective analytical review and understanding of key transactions at the entity level
Technical Knowledge:
  • Prior experience in corporate accounting, compiling financial statements
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Prior exposure to IFRS and FRS101
  • Experience with consolidations
  • Previous experience within in Real Estate/Property experience is a advantageous
