Job Description

Grid Connections Manager (Renewable Energy) LondonUp to 100k (DOE) + Health and Dental Insurance + Life Assurance + Performance based bonus + 25 days holiday Are you an Electrical Grid / Connections specialist who has strong knowledge on Renewable Energy systems. My clients main focus is to drive the decarbonisation of the energy sector and support the UKs journey towards net zero. They are at the forefront of developing renewable electrical distribution networks across the UK, which enables the transition to cleanerenergy resources. Due to continued growth they now require a Grid Connections Manager to join their highly skilled team. In this role the successful candidate will lead the Electrical Connection Strategy for the company, they will play a significant role in shaping the future direction of the company developing new ideas and applications.This is a great opportunity for an ambitious electrical grid connections specialist to join a growing company who genuinely care about the fate of our environment. You will have the opportunity to directly influence the future growth of the business whilstalso helping push the UK closer to their green energy goals. The role:

  • Establish and lead the companys connection strategy
  • Lead the electrical connections strategy
  • Development of shovel ready renewable energy projects
  • Maintain a current and up to date understanding of current and emerging grid charging and connection policies / regulations
The person:
  • Previous experience within a similar role at an electrical connections company
  • Strong knowledge of the UK utility or Renewable Energy Sectors
  • Strong network of contacts across technical consultants, DNO, NG or ICPs
  • Valid UK driving license
