Tech LeadLocation: London/HybridSalary: CompetitiveWelcome to the dynamic role of Search Team Lead, a full-time position reporting to the Engineering Manager. In this influential capacity, you will lead a dedicated Scrum team of Software Engineers in the development and delivery of cutting-edge search featuresfor our valued customers. Your role extends beyond project execution, encompassing guidance, oversight on technical approaches, and seamless collaboration with the Digital Production team.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and CoordinationLead and coordinate the development of innovative search features.Provide comprehensive guidance on technical approaches, processes, and documentation.Foster collaboration and technical input within the Scrum team.Collaboration Across Teams:Work closely with the Digital Production team, offering technical insights and support.Extend your technical influence across multiple Scrum teams and other key functions.Technical Proficiency:Demonstrate an expert-level understanding of GraphDB and Elastic Search.Apply a strong grasp of OOP, concurrency, distributed, and cloud computing concepts.Utilize your experience with .NET/C#, databases (SQL Server, CosmosDB), and distributed programming protocols.Drive quality through unit testing, continuous integration/deployment, and test automation.Requirements:Exhibit strong leadership qualities such as being respectful, inclusive, approachable, and collaborative.Possess excellent English communication skills, both for technical and non-technical audiences.If you feel you are a good fit please apply or email to discuss.Eames Consulting is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
