Job Description

Position: Teaching AssistantLocation: Lewisham£90-£95 per dayVeritas Education are currently looking to recruit dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistants on behalf of a Secondary schools within the Lewisham area.Your main duties and responsibilities as a teaching assistant will be as follows:

  • Assisting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Taking part in small group work.
  • Providing one-to-one support for students who need additional support.
  • Assisting with the organisation of classroom activities.
Key skills and experience needed:
  • Graduate of a relevant subject
  • Be passionate about supporting students.
  • Professional manner.
  • Be patient, approachable, with fantastic communication skills.
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
