Job Description

Who are we looking forCork Gully are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated individual with a passion for solving complex problems and an entrepreneurial flair. In return Cork Gully will support the beginning of your journey with us by providing a training programme to supportyou becoming a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).What can you expectNo one day will be the same and you will be encouraged and supported by senior members of the team:

  • to take responsibility for your own portfolio of restructuring and insolvency assignments and defined aspects of larger projects;
  • to develop your communication skills to build rapport with stakeholders in distressed businesses;
  • to be actively involved in trading underperforming businesses; selling distressed businesses; realising assets for stakeholders; tracing assets; conducting investigations and managing litigation;
  • to work alongside the partners, managers and senior members of the team, learning from their experiences to broaden your restructuring and insolvency knowledge and apply the skills you have learnt from the training programme; and
  • to quickly understand the legislative requirements of a restructuring and insolvency process and assess the commercial and financial implications of the decisions being made on different stakeholders.

  • 2:1 or higher undergraduate degree
  • A-level BBB or equivalent
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good MS Office skills
What can we offer youAs well as offering support with tuition and professional qualifications, we also provide the following:
  • A starting salary of up to £30,000 per annum plus a performance bonus based upon billable hours: and
