Job Description

This Research Analyst position is an entry-level role within an Alternative Asset Manager. The role is suited to someone with a keen interest in working within a Hedge Fund. The opportunity offers a strong progression path and therefore the client is lookingfor an applicant who can provide critical analysis and support to the team.Client DetailsLondon-based Alternative Asset Manager with over £40+ billion AUM.   • Conduct comprehensive research on financial markets, economies, and individual corporations.
  • Support Front Office teams in the production of research reports.
  • Support a range of Funds within the firm such as, Private Equity, Real Estate, Energy, Etc.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry news and trends.
  • Participate in meetings with internal teams, clients and industry contacts.
  • Help in the development of financial models to forecast future economic conditions.
  • Contribute to team projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards.
ProfileA successful Research Analyst should have:
  • A degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, etc.
  • A desire to learn and grow within the financial services industry.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team.
