A world leader in environmental and engineering consultancy with an officebased in London has a requirement for a Graduate Air Quality Consultant. Successful applicants will be qualified to Masters degree level in a relevant environmental science which is bias towards air quality and ideally have some working experience in Air QualityConsultancy.You will join a team of enthusiastic and ambitious air and environmental planning consultants, and have access to a broad and prestigious client base with projects throughout the UK and abroad.QualificationsMSc in a relevant Environmental ScienceExperienceBackground in Air QualitySelf-motivated, able to learn quickly and to work independently to deadlines.Good communication skillsCommercially aware and team playerAdvanced numerical skillsDutiesMeasurement surveys and reportingAtmospheric dispersion modeling (ADMS, ADMS Roads, DMRB packages)Baseline data collationAssessment of air quality for various types of projects across all business sectors including Land and Property, Renewable Energy, Mineral Extraction sites and Waste Management facilitiesUndertaking air quality modelling and assessment works, from the start to the completion of projectsLiaising with clients, other team members, employees across the company and third parties such as local authorities, technology providers and transport consultantsLiaising with consultants, engineers and architects Writing high quality reportsConsulting with a variety of external bodies in order to complete air quality reportsConducting desk-based studies to assess local air quality in the vicinity of proposed schemes and developmentsProduce air quality reports and prepare proposals preparation of inputs for Environmental StatementsConducting air quality impact assessments and monitoring programmes Excel based data manipulation GIS work Technical report writing. Travel to various sites.
