Job Description

My client, a highly valued Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a motivated Graduate Acoustic Specialist to join their established team of experienced professionals based in London. My client is a multi-disciplinary who specialises in Air Quality,Noise and Vibration, Hydrodynamic Modelling, Ecology Services, Environmental Impact Assess and Geospatial Modelling. The role will be diverse consisting with projects based in the UK and overseas, including studies from noise compliance assessments to acousticdesign and build projects.Essential Criteria for a Graduate Acoustic Specialist:

  • A degree in Acoustics or an IoA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.
  • A confident, dynamic, and articulate individual.
  • Flexibility to travel throughout the UK - Driving licence is advantageous
The role as a Graduate Acoustic Specialist will include:
  • Visiting sites to undertake noise and vibration surveys.
  • Acoustic calculation
  • Creating acoustic models using specialist software to calculate sound levels
  • Preparing acoustic reports
  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders to arrange site access and communicating acoustic requirements.
