Job Description

Our client a leading company within their industry sector is seeking a Global Sales Director to join their team at the height of growth and development.You will be offered a remunerations package of £200,000 - 225,000 per annum with multiple benefits.To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience in Product Portfolio Management experience within the marketplace. If you dont have this, then we kindly ask you not to apply for this role. Job OverviewThe Global Sales Director is responsible for all aspects of the sales operation. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing sales strategies to meet the companys objectives.The successful candidate must have operated within the IT sector with relevant knowledge and experiences to match the below responsibilities. You must have extensive experience within project management and delivery.Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead and manage Global sales teams: Account managers, new business and pre-sales personnel.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans, including commission programs, to achieve revenue growth and expand market share globally.
  • Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, closing, and post-sales support.
  • Set clear and objective targets for all members of sales team. Monthly measurement against targets including coaching and mentoring individual performers
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive customer retention and loyalty.
  • Analyse market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
  • Manage, mentor, and coach a global sales team, setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and driving a high-performance sales culture.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and professional services, to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to optimise sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field or relevant work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within a global team.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales performance metrics.
  • Ability to effectively organise and coordinate multiple priorities; be a team leader; ability to problem-solve.
  • Five plus years experience in PPM software and / or complimentary software solutions
  • Fluent in business English (written and oral)
  • International travel several times annually along with regional travel
  • Attract talented sales personnel to augment and improve existing team
  • Relentless pursuit of over-achievement of goals

  • Pension Scheme - employees are enrolled after 3 months, employees cont 5%, employer 5.5%
