Were changing the way things are done to ensure the work we undertake remains informed and operates in an agile fashion.We are looking to build a group-wide data & analytics capability, that can enable strategic and tactical projects in order to drive growth and improve efficiency, ranging from operational MI dashboards to help management run the business more effectively,AI models to drive growth via improving cross-sell and retention, through to developing data-driven products and services for clients to create new revenue streams. Central to this vision is great data quality which underpins all of our group-wide analyticaluse cases. We want to be less reactive to data quality issues and more proactive in effectively preventing the challenges that poor data quality can present.Key accountabilities

  • Data quality across the business, you will work with the rest of the Data and Analytics team to identify and implement metrics that give us a clear view of the quality of our data, and how and where we can improve it.
  • Building strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the business to develop a data quality programme.
  • Working in collaboration with stakeholders to implement a data quality framework, enabling you to identify and allocate the appropriate resources and improve the skills, technology, and processes required to implement your data quality programme.
  • Championing data management, engaging with leadership and other key stakeholders to drive adoption of good data management practices across the business.
  • Input on and help implement policies on data governance, quality and definitions
  • Work with The Global Head of Data and Analytics, to understand priorities, business challenges and opportunities, and think creatively about innovative data quality initiatives.
  • Play and active role in driving the Data Maturity of the business forwards
Skills & experience
  • Experience in delivering data quality programmes and managing a team, ideally at a large company
  • Broad experience and a proven track record of managing data and implementing data quality frameworks that can measure the quality and accuracy of data throughout the business
  • Ability to maintain relationships with all data users, actively driving engagement, adoption and usage and providing processes, training and support to ensure data quality standards are maintained
  • Experience of identifying and implementing tools that can monitor data quality and ensure focus is provided on areas of low quality
  • Extensive experience in managing critical issues and significant risks around data quality
  • Good quantitative skills and an ability to inspire confidence in data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • Dynamic, strong interpersonal and team-building skills ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries
  • You will be the primary advocate for good data management, utilising great communications and persuasion skills
  • Experience in defining and implementing a clear consistent approach to the management and tagging of metadata
  • Experience in data quality monitoring such as the adherence to business rules, data profiling and issue resolution workflow
