Job Description

DriWay International commercialises a patented technology that reduces rising damp, humidity and mold in buildings across the world.We are seeking a driven Global Business Development Manager to join our corporate headquarters team in London. (Closing date for receiving applications for this position will be June 2nd, 2020)Roles & ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development

  • Identify and evaluate strategic business opportunities, lead and structure partnership conversations, execution and track long-term success.
  • Monitor the market for information and create trends, e.g. network with key industry influencers and stakeholders, attend functions & events and monitor publications and research
  • Develop the systems and procedures to enable the effective execution of new business development
  • Plan deal approaches and pitches; participate in the negotiation of terms and deal closing
  • Partnership Development
  • Driving global and local partnerships to support business growth, scale operations and increase DriWay efficiency.
  • Represent DriWay externally by building strong and long-term relationships - lead overall partnership process from sourcing to structuring and negotiating to roll-out and optimization with clients in all verticals of property types (e.g. Residential Buildings, Office Buildings, Hotels, Hospitals, Universities etc.)
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs
  • Investor Development
  • Monitor, analyse and forecast investment raising targets and progress against targets
  • Manage investor relationships to ensure ongoing mutual benefit
  • Work with DriWay technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer and investor needs
  • Operations Management
  • Manage programs, projects and budgets
  • Collaborate internally with global DriWay operations, marketing, policy, legal, product and engineering teams to integrate with DriWays business goals and product roadmap and drive successful execution and results
  • Prepare analytical and performance reports as required
  • Identify, monitor and manage risks related to the team
  • Prepare, negotiate and manage contracts related to the team, ensuring compliance with strategic objectives, internal policies and legal obligations
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of DriWays services and products
  • Participate in strategy reviews, strategy development and the operationalization thereof
  • General
  • Carry out such other reasonable duties as may be required by the Global Chief Executive Officer and/or Global Chief Operating Officer
  • Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience working in the facilities management and property market, with specific focus on buildings of all types suffering from rising damp, condensation and other water related issues, and understanding of the key water issues (and associated technical issues) that building managers suffer from in their basements
  • Experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams such as Operations, Marketing, Legal, Product & Engineering
  • Experience operating at all levels within a facility management organization from installers and building managers working in basements to C-suite executives in boardrooms
  • Experience working across multiple territories including US, EMEA and Asia
  • Experience developing business plans and financial modelling
  • Experience in Corporate Finance and M&A
  • Must be able to demonstrate a commercial background
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Must have experience at a top tier strategic or management consulting firm
  • Evidence of being a team player with high energy, driven personality and excellent inter-personal communication and presentation skills
  • Confident and experienced presenter (both formally and informally), possessing excellent commercial understanding and awareness, be a good networker and be results-driven, self-motivated and self-disciplined
  • Professional level of Excel expertise for financial modelling
