Job Description

Our client is one of the most respected airline companies in the world, known for providing a 5* service to its customers.They turn air travel into a pleasurable and stress-free experience.They are looking for a reliable and confident German-speaking Reservation & Ticketing Agent to join their friendly office in central London. You will help ensure customers are able to continue to enjoy travelling with the airline. The pay ranges from £20k-£24k, dependent on experience and is based in a central London office.Overview:As the German-speaking reservation and ticketing agent, you will provide excellent and polite customer service to passengers, sell tickets and promote the airline’s highly respected Frequent Flyer Programme.Benefits:At the airline’s offices, you will be part of a vital team who are united in the goal of ensuring safe travel for all passengers.   • A central London office, so you will be well-connected and can travel to and from work easily
  • Flexible shift patterns - the ability to work weekends and early shifts
  • £20k - £24k annum, dependent on experience
  • Full training will be provided
    • Requirements:Not everyone can be a German-speaking Reservation & Ticketing Agent. To be considered seriously for the role:
  • You will have to be able to speak a native level of German and English.
  • Have patience and courtesy to deal with customers
  • Be comfortable using computers
  • Maintain confidential information from customers
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management skills
  • Work well as a team member
    • Desirable (but not essential):
  • Additional language of mother tongue/fluent Japanese, Italian or French will be a plus
  • Familiarity in GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Axess) is a plus
  • Familiarity with airlines’ Frequent Flyer Programme is an advantage
  • GCSE Maths & English grade C or above, or equivalent
  • Certificate or NVQ qualification in customer service, or equivalent
    • This is a 2 year fixed term contract with a view of extension or becoming a permanent employee. Competitive benefits are available. Required skills
