Job Description

The General Managers primary function is to provide leadership, management, oversee budget and operations for our nightlife concepts. They will ensure smooth operational running of the outlets ensuring the team deliver an excellent and memorable experiencefor our members. You should uphold the highest standards and ensure the guest experience is always in line with our standards.WHAT YOU WILL DOThe key responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:Alongside our external consultants,holding the restaurant vision for the company and supporting in the development of innovative menus in line with our standards.Ensuring that an effective table reservation system is in operation and being used effectively to maximise revenue.Achieving budgetedfood and drink cost, sales, stock, labour costs and profitability.Analysing food and beverage prices in relation to competition and be aware of new trends in the industry making suggestions for improvements alongside the Operations Director.Participating andinputting towards food and beverage activities helping to build innovative activations for the restaurant.Developing and maintaining all department control procedures to ensure the safe delivery of all food and beverage related products in line with UK foodsafety and health and safety legislation.Assisting in menu development and planning and pricing and helping the Senior Leadership Team and our partners to build a rich programme of events and original unique selling points which ensure longevity and credibility.Participatingin vendor sourcing, quality control, budget management and inventory purchasing for the restaurant.Taking responsibility for the end-to-end member journey ensuring every member has a great experience whilst they are with us.Continuously improving serviceby communicating and assisting individuals to understand and anticipate member needs, deliver training, guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.Suggesting changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, cost reductions and improvingour member experience.Assuring completion of weekly scheduling ensuring labour costs are in line with budget.As part of the Senior Management team, delivering the Senior Leaderships Teams vision for the direction and strategy for the whole club in line withthe companys expectations.Overseeing creation and development of all SOPs and standards.WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORProven experience managing a high-volume late-night venue in a luxury / lifestyle operation.You are an inspiring leader who relishes taking responsibilityfor running late night food and beverage teams and departments.Confident in using purchasing, health and safety and food safety, payroll and rota systems.Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage GP %s, costings and budgeting is a must.Stays up to datewith current late-night food and beverage trends and best practices.Experience in curating a calendar of interesting and creative events within a luxury lifestyle environment.Must be able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends due to the operationalhours of the club.Excellent communication skills and comfortable talking to colleagues, senior management and being front of house building relationships with our members.A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.BENEFITS30 days holiday (increasing withlength of service), pension and life assurance.Inclusion in the Tronc scheme.A health cash plan to claim money back and get access to lots of ways to support your physical & mental wellbeing.Goes without saying, but we will feed you during your shift.Lotsof opportunity to develop your skills and progress internally.Regular team get togethers, from regular team drinks to bi-annual parties.Opportunities to join one of our committees and influence how we do things, how we socialise and how we support the localcommunity.Great incentives and reward programmes including recommend a friend bonuses, employee of the month and much more.
