Job Description

General Maintenance Operative London£30,000 to £32,000 + BensMy client is a London-based SME delivering mechanical and electrical services for both the public and private sector. They provide a variety of services from one-off installations and servicing, to capital investment schemes and planned preventative maintenance programs with an emergency call-out service 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. They are now looking to expand their Domestic team by hiring a General Maintenance Operative to deliver exceptional workmanship across the London borough contracts.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the day to day management of maintenance and repairs on domestic dwellings In the Westminster Borough.

  • General maintenance, kitchen refits, bathroom refits, tiling, painting & decorating and all other general maintenance work.
  • Provide support for plumbing repairs throughout the property portfolio
  • Assist with residential flat turn arounds and undertake redecorating rooms and communal areas
  • Undertake regular building patrols to identify any maintenance requirements or Health and Safety risks, and complete all resultant actions in accordance with the core operating procedures
  • Undertake scheduled flat inspections and recording of same. Complete all resultant actions in a timely manner
  • Assist with keeping record, logs and monitoring any maintenance issues that may arise within the property
  • Adhere to our operating processes, business systems and standards
    • Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in, plumbing and/or mechanical sector is desired
  • 5 years experience within the Building Services Industry
